A little more about CoachK

I started as a cyclist, and found triathlon later in life.  I've completed numerous sprint and Olympic distance events, twelve 70.3 races, three IRONMAN's, and am a 3-time IRONMAN All World Athlete. I have an active IRONMAN Coaching Certification, and over 4 years experience coaching triathletes and runners. I have over 20 years experience as a group exercise instructor and cycle instructor. In addition, I have 25 years of professional experience where my primary role was analyzing data and coaching people. I have a degree in Computer Science with a mathematics emphasis, which pretty much makes me a data geek. My mathematics/statistics background is a huge benefit and plays a key role in my analysis and planning. This unique combination of skills are all applied and differentiates me as a coach. I have also worked for years with professionals and athletes all over the United States and the world and am very effective coaching remote athletes and team members.

 

I feel it is also important to mention my coaching price, it is less that most coaches and I want to be very clear why. In NO WAY do I consider my coaching any less than other coaches. Actually quite the opposite, I bring a very unique blend of skills and offer things that most coaches can not, and I offer it at a lessor price.  So why do I charge less? Several reasons - I want coaching to be within reach of more people.  Coaching is truly a love of mine, and I'm not doing this to build the biggest coaching company, or have the most athletes, I simply love working with people, and am very good at it.   Lastly, it is what I would pay for coaching as an athlete.
